No. In fact, I admire the progressiveness of many Europeans as well as the the cities and their ability to preserve their traditions and culture.

Superior? No.

On par? Sure.

Different culturally? Absolutely.

Proud of our own country? Mostly.

People are just people, no matter where they come from. I, as an individual will be better at some things and worse at just as many or more than anyone else. No grouping of people is superior to any other grouping of people.

If anything, people in the major cities in Europe are more superior than us. For one, their educational systems top ours by far.

Yet, their "brainpower" couldn't save them from the Nazi meance in WWII.

Europeans are forever indebted to the US for pulling them away from the brink of anihilation.

Now time for smarmy responses from those aged 30 & younger.......

Their educational system is IN NO WAY superior to ours. If that were true, I would think more of them would stay at home for college...instead they come to the U.S. in droves.

Having taught elementary school in London, I can honestly say that elementary education in the U.S. overall is MUCH better.

I will agree that Europeans in general feel superior to Americans...but of course they aren't superior. No group is superior to any other.

Great Britain and Russia fought in WWII to you know. the US wouldn't have done without their help. Typical yank attidude thinkin they completley alone saved europe in WWII.

makes me wonder why the Americans landed in europe att all considering they are all just a bunch of anglo-phobic euro-haters. Nowadays it seems that Americans hate europe just as much as the nazis hated the jews.

People in Europe are generally much smarter than those in the US. I read a book written by a teacher. He said he went somewhere in Europe, I forgot where, but the kids asked him if he was from Raleigh or Charlotte in NC. He said the kids in this regular public school knew most of the smaller cities in the US...but yet, many people in the US don't know them. It's a given that Europeans come from better educational systems.

this is true. when I went to school we even had tests where we had to write all US states on a map and their capital cities. and we had alot of mandatory lessons about american history and geography. I am from sweden btw, but I bet most if not all european countries learn alot about the US.

I bet alot of americans couldn't put out say Poland on a map.
